Kent M. Bevan


Practice Experience
Kent focuses his practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. His litigation practice includes representing individuals, businesses, and corporations in the areas of insurance defense matters, including property, casualty, liability, and business litigation. Kent has also represented clients in personal injury cases, and aviation cases.

Kent serves on the Alternative Dispute Resolution committee, the Circuit Court and Civil Practice Committee, and Managing Director's Committee of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. He has been certified as a neutral with the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, in their Early Assessment Program. Kent also serves as a member of the Surface Transportation Committee of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. He retired from the Judge Advocate General's Corps., U.S. Army Reserve, at the rank of Colonel, after approximately 25 years of military service, during which time he represented service members and, on different matters, the Government.

Kent is a shareholder, director and former managing director of the firm.
