Bob has been with the firm since 1974. He became a Shareholder/Director in 1979; acting as
Managing Director from 1990 through 1997. He is currently the President of the Firm, a position he
has held since 1997.
As a Senior Litigator with the Firm, Bob has demonstrated superior capabilities in representing clients
in complex jury trials in Federal and State courts in Missouri, Kansas and other states. He has tried
cases involving aviation, motor vehicles, product liability, insurance coverage, employment disputes,
discrimination, personal injuries, insurance agents and brokers, reinsurance, and commercial
disputes.
In addition to his active trial practice, Bob has also served as an arbitrator/mediator
since 1979, primarily through the American
Arbitration Association. He is currently
a Panel Member and on the Local Advisory
Board of the American Arbitration Association.
He has arbitrated/mediated cases involving
personal injuries and commercial disputes
ranging from a few thousand dollars to millions
of dollars. He has also represented numerous
parties in arbitration/mediation proceedings.
Bob also acts as general counsel for and represents numerous small and medium-sized
businesses, assisting and advising them
with regard to various corporate matters.
He also works with individuals with their
estate planning needs, including preparation
of wills and trusts, and administration
of decedents’ estates and trusts.
