Lewis A. Dysart |
Practice Experience
Lewis began his practice with the Dysart Taylor
law firm in 1950 as a trial attorney. He is
also an experienced estate planner. Since
1970 he has been extensively involved in mergers
and acquisitions serving the needs of both
local and national companies. These clients
utilized his expertise as both general counsel
and board member.
Lewis formerly taught Administrative Law
at the UMKC Law School and was Chairman
of the Administrative Law Committee of the
Missouri Bar during the establishment of
Missouri’s Administrative Law Commission.
He is a former Commissioner of the Kansas
City Board of Parks and Recreation and is
currently serving as Chairman of the International
Committee for the Liberty Memorial. He is
also a Director of the Vanguard Club and
a former Director of the Kansas City Rotary
Club.
