John F. Wilcox, Jr.


Practice Experience
At Dysart Taylor, John has a varied litigation practice dealing primarily with transportation, insurance, construction, employment, and criminal law. John joined the firm in 2000; he became a director and shareholder in 2004. John is licensed in Kansas and Missouri, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Prior to entering private practice, John was a prosecutor, most recently with the Douglas County District Attorney’s office in Lawrence, Kansas. John prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases, including those involving murder, rape, and kidnapping. During his time at the District Attorney’s office, John briefed and argued cases before the Kansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. John is a 1997 graduate of the National College of District Attorneys.
