With a
history spanning more than half a century,
Dysart Taylor Lay Cotter & McMonigle, P.C,
combines traditional value with innovative
solutions to provide its clients the very
best in progressive legal services. Dysart
Taylor is a full service law firm which
owes the strength of its positioning today
to the values upon which the firm was founded
during the Great Depression. Dysart Taylor
was founded in 1934 by Lee Reeder and Carl
Kretsinger as a small, general practice
law office. During the firm’s first year,
Mr. Reeder successfully handled a case for
a truck driver. The case involved less than
$100.00. Before Mr. Reeder accepted the
case, at least three other lawyers turned
it down. That small victory became the basis
for the firm's regional and nationwide reputation
as skilled lawyers in both transportation
and products liability. More importantly,
it symbolized Dysart Taylor’s enduring commitment
to responsive, personalized legal service.
Since 1934, the firm has grown from two lawyers with one staff person, to twenty-two lawyers
supported by twenty-three staff personnel. As the firm has grown, so has its range of legal services.
Today, specialized experience in aviation product liability, business acquisitions and mergers, estate planning,
government regulation, insurance, securities, taxation and transportation complements its general
practice in business planning, litigation, and real estate.
Dysart Taylor’s primary mission is to be responsive to client needs on an immediate basis, and at
affordable fees. The firm’s mission is based on the realization that quality in all phases of service is
critical to the continuation of its clients’ success.
By expanding its legal services to meet the ever-changing needs of its clients, Dysart Taylor will
continue to offer the finest possible legal expertise to help its clients resolve their problems, and
achieve their personal and business goals.
The lawyers and support staff of Dysart Taylor remain committed to providing the best legal services available to both large and small clients on a reasonable and continuing basis.
