Office Manager

Dysart Taylor is seeking part-time staff accountant/bookkeeper to perform general accounting duties as well as providing support to the Finance Manager.

Duties:

  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Reconcile credit card statements
  • Reconcile monthly general ledger
  • Printing and reporting of accounts payable check runs
  • Assists in billing/invoicing reconciliations
  • Assists in collection of past due balances
  • Posts bi-weekly payroll to the general ledger
  • Compiles financial information into a formatted budget statement for use in monthly/annual financial statement
  • Updates and maintains spreadsheet templates used in generating the financial statements
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in accounting or other related experience
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP
  • Minimum 2 years accounting experience
  • Knowledge of TABS is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
