Carol Z. Smith Joins Dysart Taylor

Dysart Taylor Cotter McMonigle & Montemore, PC is pleased to announce that Carol Z. Smith joined our firm as Of Counsel in May 2018.

Carol represents clients in litigation matters, primarily involving surety, fidelity and construction claims.  Carol earned a J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Kansas. She is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Kansas and Missouri as well as the Eighth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal. She is active in the ABA, Tort Trial and Insurance Practice, Fidelity and Surety Law Committee and has edited and contributed to several of the committee’s publications.  She was recently named to the Board of Directors of the Surety Claims Institute. She is also a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Johnson County Bar Association.
