Dysart Taylor Volunteers with NourishKC

Dysart Taylor employees volunteered at a service event for NourishKC on July 12. From NourishKC.org: For more than 35 years, the Kansas City Community Kitchen has been serving hot, nutritious meals to all who come with no questions asked. We believe that food is most basic human right and the table is an automatic equalizer – all of us need to eat and we all deserve food that nourishes our bodies and minds. The dining room is staffed by thousands of volunteers from area churches, schools, youth groups, businesses and civic organizations. They work with our culinary students & kitchen team to offer a restaurant-like atmosphere to give guests a delicious meal that not only fills their stomachs, but nourishes their bodies and minds.

Laurie McBee, Jeannie Sharkey, Cindy Lafferty, Susan Edwards, Ashley West, Rachel Meyer, Sydney Donovan, Sherri Green, Dave Buffo, Anne Saghir, and Anne Baggott participated in the event, and Lee Brumitt connected the firm to the organization.
