Benjamin J. Stringer Joins Dysart Taylor Cotter McMonigle & Montemore, P.C. as an Associate

Dysart Taylor Cotter McMonigle & Montemore, P.C., is pleased to announce that Benjamin J. Stringer joined our firm in Sept. 2018.

Ben is licensed to practice in the state of Missouri and the Western and Eastern Federal District Courts in Missouri. He previously served as a law clerk with Dysart Taylor before becoming an associate. His practice focuses on transportation law and litigation matters.

Before joining Dysart Taylor, Ben attained extensive experience working with government agencies, legislative bodies, and nonprofit organizations including the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, the Kansas Senate, the Johnson County Courthouse, Brass Tactics – HCA Get Covered America, Gwen Graham for Congress, and a law firm in Jacksonville, Florida. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Transportation Lawyers Association.

Ben holds a B.S. and an M.S. in political science from Florida State University, and a J.D. from the University of Kansas where he also obtained certificates in Trial Advocacy and Tribal Law. He was the recipient of a Jayhawk Scholarship, the James P. Mize Trial Advocacy Award, and the Justice Lloyd Kagey Leadership Award. He was a finalist in the National Mock Trial Competition and was recognized as Second Best-Spoken Advocate at the NNALSA Moot Court Competition. He served as president of the Native American Law Student Association, vice president of the Federal Bar Association, and was a member of the Black Law Student Association and the Business and Tax Law Society. He is the head coach of the women’s ultimate frisbee team at the University of Kansas and is an avid football fan.
