Michael J. Judy Graduates from Centurions Leadership Program

Dysart Taylor Attorney Michael J. Judy recently graduated from the 2015 class of the Centurions Leadership Program.

Centurions’ mission is “to prepare a representative cross-section of the community’s emerging leaders for their role in shaping the future of greater Kansas City.” The Centurions program, with the motto “Learn, Serve, Lead” is a highly competitive program operated by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.  Participants spend two years immersed in learning about Kansas City and discovering opportunities to increase the city’s overall quality of life.

During his two years in the program, Judy served on and was a co-chair of the Recruiting Committee and chaired the Retreat Committee.  He also completed more than 100 hours of community service over the course of two years.  However, he feels that his biggest accomplishment was the friendships he formed with those he met during his two year program.

Judy’s personal and professional interests are focused on helping to build and strengthen the Kansas City community in which he was born and raised.  Through his participation in Centurions, he has gained a new insight into the issues facing our city and how to address them.

“A large part of my practice involves assisting my clients to find effective and creative solutions to their problems, and this experience with Centurions has undoubtedly reinforced my ability to do that. Throughout the program, I learned that there is often more than one solution to a problem, and that the insights of others are invaluable to coming up with those solutions,” said Judy.
