Dysart Taylor shareholder/director Meghan Litecky recently received a President’s Award at the Association for Women Lawyers of Kansas City’s (AWL) annual holiday party. The award, presented by AWL President Michelle Marvel, recognized Litecky’s seven years of service on the AWL Board of Directors.
AWL was formed in 1976 to advance the role of women in the legal profession. Its membership continues to grow and now includes more than 600 lawyers and judges in the Kansas City area. Members are committed to helping women thrive in the practice of law by providing education, networking, philanthropy and camaraderie opportunities.
In her practice, Litecky helps her clients in the areas of civil litigation matters both big and small, representing individuals and businesses in everything from advising trucking companies in wrongful death actions to representing small businesses in professional liability claims to helping individuals in an array of personal and property damage matters.
