Dysart Taylor associate Samantha Sicola was recently accepted to the 2024 Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) Bar Leadership Academy (BLA). The Academy, which only admits a maximum of 30 attorneys each year, is a special program designed by the KCMBA to help new, emerging leaders in the Kansas City legal community develop their skills, knowledge and experience to become better leaders in their profession and community. The program is seven months long with seven training sessions that feature speakers, instructors and facilitators who are prominent in the Kansas City legal community.
The BLA aims to enhance all participants’ leadership skills so that they are better prepared to excel in their profession, seek out and take on leadership opportunities in industry organizations and foster a sense of pride, commitment and participation in professional association activities moving forward. The BLA creates a strong, diverse group of future leaders within the Kansas City legal community.
“I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to join the Bar Leadership Academy this year,” Sicola said. “I am excited to strengthen my leadership skills, meet other local professionals in the Kansas City legal community and grow as an individual and an attorney.”
Sicola is a skilled civil litigation attorney with experience representing clients at both the state and federal levels across a variety of practice areas, including insurance defense, employment law and personal injury.
