Dysart Taylor is pleased to welcome Alexandra Solomon as a summer associate at the firm. Alexandra joins us from Washburn University School of Law and will work alongside our team of attorneys over the summer, gaining hands-on opportunities and experience at the firm.

“We’re excited to welcome Alexandra to our summer associate program for 2024,” Managing Director Michael Judy said. “Our goal with the program is to provide a well-rounded experience for all involved, and we feel confident and excited that Alexandra will apply her talent and knowledge to all the work she contributes to throughout the program.”

Where did you receive your undergraduate degree from? What is your degree in?

I received my undergraduate degree from Drury University. I have a B.A. in clinical and behavioral neuroscience and a B.A. in criminology.

Are you a part of any extracurricular activities?

I am a part of the Women’s Legal Forum and the Washburn Federal Bar Association Student Chapter.

What inspired you to start on the path to become a lawyer?

It wasn’t until undergrad that I became inspired to start on the path to become a lawyer. Throughout my studies I learned about the power of advocacy, primarily in a criminal law context. I instantly loved getting to play that role and knew that I wanted to be a lawyer after that.

What are you most looking forward to while working for Dysart Taylor this summer?

This summer I am most looking forward to getting to experience and learn about several different areas of the law.

How do you like to spend your time outside of school and work?

Outside of school and work I like to spend time with family, read and watch sports!
