Dysart Taylor McMonigle Brumitt & Wilcox, P.C. is thrilled to announce Alexandra Dietz has been named an associate at the firm, focusing on insurance, labor and employment and personal injury matters.

Alex first came to Dysart Taylor as a summer associate in 2024, focusing on conducting legal research on a wide range of procedural and substantive legal issues covering multiple jurisdictions. She also gained further experience in drafting legal documents such as demand letters, petitions, motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss. Her work as a former summer associate at the firm will allow her to easily integrate into the firm as an associate, given her strong understanding of firm processes, client backgrounds and practice area focuses.

Prior to joining Dysart Taylor, Alex held an externship at a small Kansas law firm, where she assisted with development of ordinance and lease/purchase agreements for the city and drafted legal documents such as wills, trusts, probate pleadings, pretrial questionnaires and scheduling orders. She also served as a law clerk at a law firm in Topeka, where she focused on matters related to workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. Alex gained strong experience and an understanding of the legal process through these opportunities, giving her the knowledge she needs to serve clients and achieve their strategic goals.

“We are thrilled to welcome Alex back to Dysart Taylor as an associate attorney,” said Managing Director Michael Judy. “Her experience not just in the legal industry but with our firm specifically will be incredibly beneficial for our clients and their business objectives as she can jump in quickly, given her initial background and knowledge of our work.”

Alex completed her undergraduate B.A. in clinical and behavioral neuroscience and criminology with minors in community health and advanced scientific analysis at Drury University. She later earned her law degree from Washburn University School of Law, where she was also a member of the Women’s Legal Forum and the Washburn Federal Bar Association Student Chapter.
