Ketchum to Moderate Panel on Professional Development for Women Lawyers
Amanda Pennington Ketchum will co-moderate a panel discussion with women lawyers and leaders in Kansas City who will share key career insights as well as a relationship building happy hour. This is the Kansas City launch event for Drinks Among Friends, a grass roots organization that brings women in the legal community together with the overarching goal of empowering them in their aspirations to lead. Tickets cost $50 and participants can register here.
Drinks Among Friends’ mission is to spark dialogue about gender roles in corporate America and to facilitate an environment where women in the legal and business communities can support and empower other women.
ConAgra General Counsel Megan Belcher will also serve as co-moderator, and the panel will consist of CBIZ Executive Vice President & General Counsel Nancy Mellard, Great Plains Energy and KCP&L Senior Vice President of Human Resources and General Counsel Heather Humphrey, Armstrong Teasdale Partner Jovita Foster, and Husch Blackwell Partner Cynthia Cordes. The event will take place May 21 at from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Grand Street Event Space.
