Dysart Taylor is pleased to announce director Lee Brumitt recently spoke on complex change order payment matters at an April 28 virtual seminar. Brumitt’s presentation was part of an all-day National Business Institute (NBI) seminar, Construction Law: Advanced Issues and Answers, an advanced guide to complex construction law issues in Kansas.
On any construction project, seemingly simple issues can quickly become complex if not handled correctly. Because of this, it’s essential to have an in-depth understanding of critical construction project legal matters that have the potential to cause severe headaches for clients.
For his presentation, Change Orders and Extra Work – Payment Issues Disentangled, Brumitt shared his previous experiences with change order disasters and how to successfully navigate clients through the process.
More than 35 years into his practice, Brumitt focuses his practice in construction law and litigation, representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals on public, commercial and residential projects.
