Dysart Taylor shareholder/director Meghan Litecky was recently slated as the vice president of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s (KCMBA) board of directors for 2026. Litecky has been involved with the organization since 2018, serving on numerous committees and previously serving as treasurer of the board prior to being slated as vice president.

At the KCMBA’s 141st Annual Meeting in December, the program included the swearing-in of the 2026 KCMBA president as well as the announcement of the new board officers and directors, including Litecky’s selection as vice president.

As a firm, Dysart Taylor was a sponsor of the Annual Meeting and was also recognized as a member of the 100% Club, a group that includes the most engaged law firms and companies in the greater Kansas City community, with 100% of firm members having regular membership to KCMBA.

KCMBA is the largest and oldest bar association in the Kansas City area. Founded in 1884, the organization utilizes its rich tradition as a platform to provide current, innovative and relevant service to its 5,000 members in its nine-county service territory in Missouri and Kansas.

In her practice, Litecky helps her clients in the areas of civil litigation matters both big and small, representing individuals and businesses in everything from advising trucking companies in wrongful death actions to representing small businesses in professional liability claims to helping individuals in an array of personal and property damage matters.
