Attorney Anne Lindner Saghir, a graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Law, joined Dysart Taylor in 2018.
With a focus on personal injury litigation and insurance matters, Anne guides businesses through all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution. She strives to collaborate with her clients to counsel businesses on relevant laws and procedures in litigation.

Why did you want to become an attorney? What made you decide on this field?
“When I was just out of college and working as a journalist, I was often in the position of going to lawyers and other professionals for the context and analysis that I needed for stories I was writing. The idea of being an expert at something, like the lawyers I used as sources, seemed attractive. However, I soon realized that working as a litigator also involves continuous learning and questioning.”
What’s the best advice you’ve received from a fellow attorney?
“A wise attorney told me to always be myself and not to try to imitate the style of another lawyer.”
What is your biggest goal for your legal career?
“To continue to do work that interests me – helping clients solve problems – for as long as I can be of use to people.”
What Kansas City experience would you recommend to everyone?
“We moved to Kansas City from Madison, Wisconsin, three years ago. However, my family lived here when I was a child. Since I now have young children, I again see Kansas City through kids’ eyes. Feeding the ducks at Loose Park, visiting the Deanna Rose Children’s Farm, running around the shuttlecocks in the lawn at the art museum … these are all things I highly recommend to those young at heart.”
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
“I love to cook.”
