Anne Baggott was elected to the Society of Human Resource of Greater Kansas City (SHRM-KC) Board of Directors as the Director of Governmental Affairs on October 8, 2019. SHRM-KC is a professional association dedicated to the advancement and support of the human resource profession.
“I look forward to working with the outstanding directors and members in this role,” Anne said. “SHRM-KC helps employers comply with the multitude of employment laws, and I’m proud to help lead the association.” As the Director of Governmental Affairs, Anne will be responsible for the committee that updates members on legal issues impacting employers through newsletter articles, monthly programs, and webinars.
SHRM-KC has 11 directors, with seven new directors being elected this year. The new directors’ terms will expire in 2021.
