In February, Dysart Taylor shareholder/director Leslie Boe attended Connections to Success’ Tribute to Success Luncheon in Kansas City. Boe serves as secretary of the organization’s executive board of directors.
Connections to Success is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire individuals to realize their dreams and achieve economic independence by providing hope, resources and a plan. The organization provides a comprehensive network of services and support to help people living in poverty become economically self-sufficient. The organization’s programs provide job readiness training, life coaching and mentoring, professional clothing, employer connections, career support, and support following employment.
The Tribute to Success Luncheon shines a spotlight on the impact of Connections to Success while recognizing the individuals, corporate sponsors and partners who play a vital role in helping participants build pathways to long-term success. Proceeds from the event go directly to supporting the organization’s Pathways to Success and Dress for Success programs.
Boe has been a member of the organization’s board of directors since 2020 and has served as secretary of the executive board of directors since 2021.
Focusing on construction law, Boe advises a wide variety of clients in the industry, including owners, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers.
