Dysart Taylor shareholder/director Leslie Boe recently attended the American Subcontractors Association’s (ASA) Attorneys’ Council Annual Retreat in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. During the retreat, Boe was elected to serve as secretary of the organization’s Attorney Council for the upcoming year.
The ASA Attorneys’ Council Retreat is an annual event where members of the organization meet to discuss trending topics within the construction and subcontractor industry and connect with other members. Some of the topics discussed include continued educat
ion on construction contracts, risk management and insurance; environmental regulations; membership development, recruitment and advertising; and the Supreme Court’s decision on tariffs imposed under IEEPA.
The group also participated in group activities including group dinners and an excursion to Horn Island, a National Park and refuge for a local artist, Walter Inglis Anderson.
Boe has participated in several events with the ASA and serves as a contributing author for articles within the group’s publication, The Contractor’s Compass. Elected as secretary of the Attorney Council, Boe will serve on the 2026-2027 leadership team alongside Jim Yand of Miller Nash and Marc Felezzola of Babst Calland.
Focusing on construction law, Boe advises a wide variety of clients in the industry, including owners, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers.
