Dysart Taylor is pleased to announce director Carol Z. Smith has been named chair-elect of the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice’s Fidelity and Surety Law Committee (FSLC), effective August 1, 2021.
Smith will begin her term as chair in 2022 and is planning three national CE/CLE programs, currently scheduled to occur in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Lake Tahoe. She has previously served as a committee vice-chair (2009-2014, 2018-2020), a co-chair of its communications division (2015-2018) and a co-chair of its membership committee (2018-2020).
The FSLC is the leading intellectual and legal resource for the surety and fidelity insurance industries. Because the committee’s membership, and the authors and presenters in its publications and programs, include surety and fidelity company professionals and outside counsel and consultants who serve these industries, the FSLC offers its members invaluable professional development and networking opportunities.
