Dysart Taylor is pleased to announce it partnered with Operation Breakthrough to support its program of providing stockings stuffed with holiday goodness. The stockings included everything from essential items like school supplies, hygiene products and snacks to toys and games from wish lists.
The firm collected stockings and cash donations throughout December and donated 13 completed stockings and an additional $770 in donations.
Operation Breakthrough provides assistance each weekday for more than 650 children ages 6 weeks to 14 years, with more than 80% of the enrolled families living below the federal poverty guidelines. In addition, about 25% of the children are homeless or near homeless, and another 25% are in foster care. The nonprofit also provides educational programs, healthcare, parent programs and emergency services to the children and families they serve.
