Dysart Taylor is pleased to announce it has earned a total of 16 rankings in the 2026 Best Law Firms rankings. In the Kansas City market, the firm earned 10 prestigious Tier 1 rankings, up from eight in 2025, in the following practice areas:
- Closely Held Companies and Family Businesses Law
- Commercial Litigation
- Construction Law
- Insurance Law
- Litigation – Construction
- Litigation – Insurance
- Litigation – Real Estate
- Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants
- Transportation Law
- Trusts & Estates Law
The firm earned four local Tier 2 rankings in the following practice areas:
- Business Organizations (including LLCs and Partnerships)
- Corporate Law
- Litigation – Labor and Employment
- Tax Law
In addition, the firm earned two local Tier 3 rankings in Employment Law – Individuals and Municipal Law, the latter in which the firm became a first-time honoree.
The firm also moved up from Tier 2 to Tier 1 in Insurance Law and Transportation Law and saw Litigation – Labor and Employment move up from Tier 3 to Tier 2.
