It is with profound sadness that Dysart Taylor shares news of the passing of former name partner Frank William Taylor Jr.

Taylor was a dedicated member of the Dysart Taylor family for 58 years. He was a committed counselor to his clients, a friend to his colleagues, and a pillar in the community.

“Bill touched many people and it’s a tremendous loss not only for Dysart Taylor but the community at large. We will miss his quick wit, his contagious laugh and warm spirit. We extend our sincerest condolences to his wife, Betty, and children, Trasi and Terry,” said firm president Patrick K. McMonigle.

After joining the firm in 1958 as an associate, Taylor was officially added to the firm’s name in 1964. During his time at the firm, he built Dysart Taylor into a nationally renowned firm in the transportation industry, representing national and regional trucking companies in business and regulatory matters. He even served as president of the Transportation Lawyers Association.

Taylor received both his undergraduate degree in business and his legal degree from the University of Kansas. In between earning his degrees, he served in the Army and was stationed in Korea.
