Dysart Taylor shareholders/directors Amanda Pennington Ketchum and Meghan Litecky recently attended the USLAW Network Women’s Connection Business Development Forum in Dallas. Ketchum and Litecky were able to meet and interact with other member attorneys during the forum as well as each facilitate presentations for attendees.

During the first day of the Forum, Ketchum co-facilitated the session Mitigating the Effects of Burnout – Strategies for Sustainable Well-Being with Meghan M. Goodwin of Thorndal, Armstrong, Delk, Balkenbush & Eisinger. The session offered a space for female attorneys to share self-care strategies and experiences, discuss the signs of burnout and gain valuable tools to maintain their energy, passion and impact in their roles and careers.

Litecky was a co-facilitator, alongside Lisa Black of Black Marjieh & Sanford LLP and Jessica Windfont of MehaffyWeber, of the session Leading with Authenticity – Embracing Your True Self in Leadership during the second day of the Forum. The session discussed how to develop authentic leadership skills in order to foster trust and drive meaningful change within their teams.

Ketchum was appointed as the chair of the USLAW Women’s Connection. Ketchum previously served as the secretary of the Women’s Connection and this new appointment will continue her service on the group’s leadership committee.

Dysart Taylor is proud to be the only firm in Kansas City that is a member of the USLAW NETWORK, an international organization of nearly 100 independent, defense-based law firms with more than 6,000 attorneys covering the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
