Dysart Taylor McMonigle Brumitt & Wilcox, P.C. is pleased to announce Elizabeth Judy has joined the firm as an associate, focusing on complex commercial litigation matters.

With experience in Kansas, Missouri and California across a variety of practice areas, including medical malpractice, construction and transportation, Elizabeth advises and represents national, regional and local clients through all phases of liability claims and associated litigation processes. Prior to joining Dysart Taylor, she served as a civil litigation associate at small Kansas City firms and as deputy county counselor for the Jackson County Counselor’s Office.

Before entering private practice, Elizabeth served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. W. Brent Powell in the Jackson County Circuit Court handling criminal law, civil procedure, contract, property, tort and first amendment issues.

Elizabeth completed her undergraduate Honors B.A. in Writing – Intensive English and Political, Social and Legal Philosophy at Marquette University, and she later earned her law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law.
