Dysart Taylor attorney Elizabeth Judy’s article, “Navigating Shark-Infested Waters: Mitigating Tow and Storage Exposure in Commercial Trucking” was recently published in USLAW NETWORK’s Winter 2026 Magazine. In celebration of the organization’s 25th anniversary, this edition of the magazine highlighted members and member firms making meaningful impact in their practices, communities and across the industries they serve.
In the article, Liz discusses “the persistent and worsening issue of predatory towing practices in the commercial transportation industry.” She highlights how trucking companies and other commercial motor carriers can underestimate the potential financial impact of towing and recovery companies, but with proper planning, effective policies and initial knowledge of these predatory practices, these companies can better protect themselves if and when these issues arise.
