Dysart Taylor shareholders/directors Amanda Pennington Ketchum and Meghan Litecky recently attended the USLAW NETWORK Women’s Connection in Quebec City in Canada. Ketchum chaired the conference and worked with a fabulous committee of attorneys from member firms in preparation for the event. She led the member meeting and then gave the welcoming address to all attendees to kick off the official start of the event.
This is the 19th Women’s Connection and Ketchum announced four key initiatives as the group prepares for next year’s 20th celebration. She also introduced the keynote speaker, Erin Hatzikostas, who gave a lively talk focused on authenticity in the workplace.
The Women’s Connection is an annual event that brings together female legal decision-makers from an array of industries, specialties and regions to engage in interactive sessions, networking opportunities and activities. This year, topics covered include navigating AI and legal ethics, how to increase productivity, how to maximize in-house and outside counsel relationships and how to delegate tasks as a leader.
The USLAW NETWORK Women’s Connection provides a forum for women lawyers to collaborate, develop and advance the status of women involved in the legal arena through the strengthening of personal and professional relationships. The group aims to mentor and educate women leaders to not only increase the visibility of women in USLAW but also to provide opportunities for them to facilitate and strengthen business development.
