H. Joseph Price, Jr. Joins Dysart Taylor

Joe Price is returning to Dysart Taylor after a 35 year hiatus. He was an Associate with Dysart Taylor from 1978 to 1980 and has since served in leadership positions at several large law firms where his responsibilities included managing their estate planning and tax law departments. Most recently, Joe was the Executive Vice President of a large firm which specialized in life insurance for estate planning and asset preservation purposes.

Joe is the current President of the Estate Planning Society of Kansas City, a Fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and an Adjunct Professor at UMKC School of Law where he currently teaches Planning with Distributions from IRAs and Qualified Retirement Plans; previously, he has taught classes on Deferred Compensation and Tax Planning with Life Insurance. Joe has served as the Chairman of the Heart of America Tax Institute (1992) and the Kansas City Estate Planning Symposium (2005).

Joe is a native of Webster Groves, Missouri (St. Louis suburb). He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 1975 and his law degree from the University of California-Berkeley in 1978.

Joe works in the areas of Estate and Income Tax Planning, Business Planning and Asset Protection.
