Dysart Taylor managing director Michael Judy recently served as co-chair for the USLAW NETWORK Transportation and Logistics Exchange in Las Vegas. Judy served alongside fellow co-chair Julie Brennan of Pion, Nerone, Girman & Smith.

The two-day Exchange is an opportunity to bring together “rising stars” within the transportation and logistics industry, including those from large transportation companies and large transportation insurers/TPAs. The program provides real-world takeaways and shared experiences for attendees that can be implemented into their workplaces.

Judy acted as a facilitator for the session ‘Smart Retention: Turning Data Management Into Litigation Advantages,’ which discussed practical strategies for retaining electronic evidence and how that data is being used effectively by opponents during litigation. Jack Nevins of S-E-A, Limited and Bryan Stanton of Pierce Couch Hendrickson Baysinger & Green, LLP were also facilitators of the session.

In his practice, Judy defends trucking companies and their drivers against personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits, advises transportation industry clients on key aspects of their businesses and guides clients to favorable results in defending claims against large and small entities at the local, regional and national levels. His practice also involves local, regional and national defense for retail, restaurant and other hospitality clients in a variety of claims and lawsuits, including matters such as slips and falls, negligent security and other operational issues.
