Dysart Taylor shareholder/director Amanda Pennington Ketchum chaired this year’s 20th anniversary celebration of the USLAW NETWORK Women’s Connection, which featured many special touches to recognize the milestone. Ketchum and fellow shareholder/director Meghan Litecky attended the event in Beverly Hills, California. The landmark year celebrates two decades of community, leadership and connection among women across USLAW and the clients we serve, and this year’s event rounded out the organization’s monthlong initiative to celebrate the milestone.

The Women’s Connection is an annual event that brings together female legal decision-makers from an array of industries, specialties and regions to engage in interactive sessions, networking opportunities and activities. In celebration of the group’s 20th anniversary, this year’s event paid tribute to the trailblazers who laid the foundation for the Women’s Connection and honored the leaders who continue to shape its impact today.

As chair of the Women’s Connection, Ketchum led the member meeting and had the opportunity to present the welcoming address at the conference, as well as introduce the event’s keynote speaker, Olympian Sarah Wells. Ketchum also had the honor of an early morning run with Sarah as part of the Run with an Olympian activity at the event.

The event was made extra special with a visit from Wolfgang Puck while attendees dined at his restaurant, the premier of the short film titled “The History of the USLAW Women’s Connection” at the Crescent Theater, and a special red-carpet night with stunning attire. Throughout the weekend, the one-on-one connections and time spent together with women empowering women was energizing and inspiring and perfectly wrapped up with a speech from founding member Renee Yanta, following the presentation of the 2026 O’Hagan-Carr award to her and pioneers of the USLAW Network Women’s Connection.

The USLAW NETWORK Women’s Connection provides a forum for women lawyers to collaborate, develop and advance the status of women involved in the legal arena through the strengthening of personal and professional relationships. The group aims to mentor and educate women leaders to not only increase the visibility of women in USLAW but also to provide opportunities for them to facilitate and strengthen business development.

Dysart Taylor is proud to be the only firm in Kansas City that is a member of the USLAW NETWORK, an international organization of nearly 100 independent, defense-based law firms with more than 6,000 attorneys covering the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
