Dysart Taylor is pleased to announce director Leslie A. Boe led festivities for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Women’s Council’s 2022 Graduate Assistance Fund (GAF) Reception. Boe currently serves as the President of the UMKC Women’s Council.
The UMKC Women’s Council is an organization of campus and community members who actively support the education of women graduate students by providing financial assistance – the GAF – and expanded opportunities to enhance and enable their educational experience and careers. The GAF was founded more than 50 years ago when the Founders contributed $750 which was split between five female graduate students.
Boe was recently quoted in a UMKC Today article, Women’s Council Escalates Scholars’ Success, about the event and its beneficiaries. She said, “The work our graduate students are doing is always innovative, interesting and impressive. These hardworking women are going to change the world, and I’m continually inspired by them. I’m honored to play a small role in their journey.”
Focusing on construction law, Boe advises a wide variety of clients in the industry, including owners, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers.
