Dysart Taylor shareholder/director Leslie Boe recently attended and spoke at SUBExcel 2026, the American Subcontractors Association’s (ASA) National Convention, in Bonita Springs, Florida. Boe currently serves as the secretary of the ASA Attorney Council.
Spanning three days, SUBExcel is ASA’s annual national convention that provides members the opportunity to attend a variety of presentations and activities that cover trending topics within the industry. Some of the topics covered during this year’s convention include family business best practices, how to utilize AI to assist with various issues, how to utilize CRM systems and more.
Boe spoke on the Attorney Council’s panel, Stump the Attorney, where subcontractors had the opportunity to participate in an open exchange with ASA attorneys to stump their attorneys on legal matters important to the construction industry. Also on the panel were Chip Bachara of Bachara Construction Law Group, Trey Copeland of Jones Petroleum Companies, Dorsey Carson, Jr. of Carson Law Group, Aaron Haak of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., and E. Scott Holbrook, Jr. of Crawford & Bangs LLP.
Boe has participated in several events with the ASA and serves as a contributing author for articles within the group’s publication, The Contractor’s Compass. As secretary of the Attorney Council, Boe will serve on the 2026-2027 leadership team alongside Jim Yand of Miller Nash and Marc Felezzola of Babst Calland.
Focusing on construction law, Boe advises a wide variety of clients in the industry, including owners, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers.
