Dysart Taylor managing director Michael Judy will serve as a rotating co-host on the new USLAW NETWORK podcast, USLAW Live. The podcast, which launched in March 2025, will discuss prominent legal issues as well as provide a platform for USLAW attorneys to meet other members, clients and corporate partners.

So far, Judy has been a co-host for two episodes of the podcast. In Judy’s first episode, alongside co-host Pam Hallford of Carr Allison and podcast guest Dr. Christina Marinakis of Immersion Legal Jury, the group discusses Marinakis’ launch of her company’s practice, trending issues in the courtroom and tips for working with juries in a digitally focused and remote-working environment.

In Judy’s second episode, alongside Hallford, Nick Rauch of Larson King LLP and podcast guest Chris Cotter of Roetzel & Andress, the topic of discussion centers around how a defense known as FAAAA Preemption has become a powerful weapon in the fight against direct negligence claims against brokers and shippers arising out of catastrophic truck accidents. The group also dives into current trends in defense in state and federal courts throughout the country and how collaboration across USLAW NETWORK works to support all clients.

The 30-minute episodes are released on Thursdays and are available on all several podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Amazon Music. Learn more about the podcast here.

In his practice, Judy defends trucking companies and their drivers against personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits, advises transportation industry clients on key aspects of their businesses and guides clients to favorable results in defending claims against large and small entities at the local, regional and national level.
