Bio
Alex Johnson, a University of Michigan Law School graduate, began his legal career with an intern clerkship with Judge Eric Melgren of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. During this time, he collaborated with the Judge and other law clerks on legal research and drafting memoranda and orders.
He has since spent time in private practice as a litigator in Kansas and Missouri at both the state and federal levels. This includes handling all stages of a matter from inception and through to appeal, when necessary. This experience and his roles as second- and third-chair in several bench trials and jury trials have allowed him to deepen his knowledge and understanding of the litigation process.
Alex’s practice at Dysart Taylor focuses on construction litigation. He regularly provides legal counsel to property owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and insurers as a strategic advocate for his clients in all guidance on business and corporate legal services.
Alex is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas.
