In May, Carol Smith and Matt Geary attended the American Bar Association / Fidelity and Surety Law Committee (ABA/FSLC) Spring Meeting in Incline Village, Nevada. The program, For Future Reference: Emerging Issue in Payment Bond Law, was attended by approximately 150 surety industry professionals. Matt authored the Missouri chapter for the Electronic Payment Bond Deskbook, which was released at the conference. He also co-presented a segment of the program called, Sums (Un)justly Due: Attorneys’ Fee and Interest Issues for the Payment Bond Surety.
Carol is the current FSLC Chair. The program was Carol’s third national program for the 2022-23 year.
