Dysart Taylor Cotter McMonigle & Brumitt, P.C. is seeking a staff accountant/bookkeeper to perform general accounting duties and provide support to the Finance Manager and Legal Manager. Please send your resume, along with salary requirements, to Legal Manager Shelby Nusrala.
Duties:
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Reconcile monthly general ledger
- Handle the printing and reporting of accounts payable check runs
- Assist in billing/invoicing reconciliations
- Assist in collection of past due balances
- Post bi-weekly payroll to the general ledger
- Compile financial information into a formatted budget statement for use in monthly/annual financial statement
- Update and maintain spreadsheet templates used in generating the financial statements
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- An associate degree in accounting or other related experience
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP
- Minimum of two years accounting experience
- Knowledge of TABS is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
