Dysart Taylor Cotter & McMonigle, P.C., is pleased to announce that Vicki Wind has moved into the role of staff attorney after being relicensed and admitted to practice in the state of Missouri in August.
Vicki was a practicing in-house attorney at a large insurance company from 1994 until 2003, when she stepped away from the law to support her family. In 2014, she re-entered the work force as a tax researcher for a large Kansas City-based tax preparation company. She researched, analyzed, evaluated and answered tax questions from tax professionals and clients in the areas of estates, trusts, gifts and retirement . Vicki then joined Dysart Taylor as a paralegal in May 2017.
This year the firm helped Vicki become reinstated to the practice of law in Missouri. “Often women leave the law to care for children and other family members early in their careers,” said Mandy Ketchum, managing director. “Supporting Vicki in returning to practice was a real win-win for both our newest attorney and the firm.
