Dysart Taylor McMonigle Brumitt & Wilcox, P.C. is pleased to announce Clayton Comley has joined the firm as an associate, focusing on complex civil litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Clayton is a former prosecutor with a background in dealing with both misdemeanor and violent crimes, with matters including DUI, assault, robbery and murder, and he has tried more than 30 cases to jury verdict related to those matters. His experience in representing state governments gives him a unique perspective on how to provide his clients with the best support and guidance necessary to resolve matters.

Prior to joining Dysart Taylor, Clayton spent several years as a prosecuting attorney, including serving as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Jackson County (Missouri) Prosecutor’s Office working within the Violent Crimes Unit. He also served as an assistant district attorney at the Harris County (Texas) District Attorney’s Office. There he served as a prosecutor across multiple divisions and handled a large variety of criminal matters from the early stages of investigation to the conclusion as a trial litigator.

“Clayton’s experience as a former prosecutor and his background dealing with a variety of matters will make him an incredible asset for our clients and our firm,” said Managing Director Michael Judy. “We are thrilled to have him join our team and continue to provide the highest level of service to all the clients he will serve.”

Clayton completed his undergraduate B.A. in psychology with a minor in criminal justice at Saint Louis University and later earned his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and Texas.
