Bio

Clay Karpowich is a skilled attorney with strong conflict resolution skills and experience dealing with matters in a variety of practice areas including personal injury, insurance defense and criminal defense. Clay manages matters through the entire legal process, from commencement through to trial, executing comprehensive litigation strategies and maintaining a commitment to procedural accuracy throughout the process to achieved client-focused results.

Clay earned his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law and began his legal career as an assistant public defender for the 10^th Judicial Public Defender in Olathe, Kansas. He advocated for clients in court and provided legal representation for indigent clients in felony criminal case, gaining significant courtroom and jury trial experience.

Prior to joining Dysart Taylor, Clay served as an attorney at a local Overland Park law firm focusing his practice on personal injury matters. He managed over 200 matters, providing oversight on all phases of representation, from client intake and investigation to settlement negotiations, litigation and trial preparation to ensure thorough client support.

Clay is licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri.
